MADELINE MCCLURE
Madeline McClure is a dancer, instructor, and administrator. While pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Florida State University, she danced and worked at The Tallahassee Ballet. Coming from training that ranges across commercial and concert dance, she has performed in works by choreographers including George Balanchine and Donna Uchizono. Madeline has trained with master teachers including Suzanne Farrell, Desmond Richardson, and Ilana Goldman. She has had extensive experience as a dance instructor and dance administrator. Now, Madeline lives and works in New York, New York.

SOCIAL MEDIA / MARKETING INTERN, THE DANCE THEATRE OF HARLEM
Madeline manages the social media accounts for The Dance Theatre of Harlem under the direction of Tai Jimenez. She not only launched the DTH School's Instagram, but posts regularly to support the development of the school and to promote the summer intensive.

As Assistant to Artistic Director Tyrone Brooks, Madeline managed company phone and email and served as the liaison between dancers, directors, choreographers, costume staff, guest artists, and others involved in rehearsals and productions. She distributed contracts, updated handbooks, and posted company cast lists.

As an instructor at The Tallahassee Ballet School, Madeline created lesson plans and instructed students ages 3-18 in ballet and pointe according to the ABT curriculum. She managed costumes, selected music, and choreographed a piece for the annual recital performance.

The BFA in dance at Florida State University provides to students the highest caliber in both practice, scholarship, and research. The degree emphasis is on performance, choreography, pedagogy, history, and aesthetic. Here, Madeline trained daily with teachers including Ilana Goldman, Caleb Mitchell, Kara Wilkes, and Donna Uchizono. Madeline has received two merit scholarships from the School of Dance and an academic scholarship from the University.
INTENSIVES
Madeline has travelled regionally and nationally for spring and summer intensives to train under teachers including Elena Kunikova, Desmond Richardson, Max Stone, and Suzanne Farrell.
DANCE DYNAMICS COMPANY
Madeline's early training began at Dance Dynamics Studio in Macon, Georgia. Here, she studied ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She was a part of the acclaimed Dance Dynamics Company, traveling to many regional and national competitions each year.
